   Компания Steganos выпустила обновленную версию продукта Steganos Password Manager 2009, уникальной системы управления персональными паролями. Программа предоставляет пользователю все необходимое для упорядоченного централизованного хранения всех принадлежащих ему паролей и других идентификационных данных. Информация хранится в виде зашифрованного списка, доступ к которому предоставляется при вводе правильного пароля или подключении специфического устройства (например, портативного USB-накопителя), выполняющего функцию ключа.
   Приложение способно генерировать действительно надежные пароли и предостерегает пользователя от использования легко подбираемых сочетаний, вроде «ААА12345». Пользователи смогут без труда заполнять различные формы и проходить авторизацию на сайтах, «перетаскивая» нужную информацию в поле для ввода с помощью курсора мыши. При настройке нужных параметров ввод данных может осуществляться автоматически. Записи в списке паролей также могут содержать дополнительную информацию, адреса, описания и имена контактов.

Среди нововведений, реализованных в предлагаемой версии, стоит отметить возможность хранения списков паролей на «флэшках» и других портативных носителях, что позволяет обращаться к ним при работе на чужом компьютере (в гостях у друзей, в Интернет-кафе и др.). Пользователям Steganos Password Manager 2009 также предлагаются более совершенные механизмы сортировки и фильтрации паролей. Продукт поддерживает несколько пользовательских профилей.
